Reception for 7th Generation of Interns |
Belgrade, May 27th 2010.
 Reception for seventh generation of participants in Zoran Djindjic Internship Program of German business was held at the National Bank of Serbia.
President of Serbia Boris Tadic addressed the guests and said that the government and institutions can be successfully governed only through continuous learning and internal discipline. He added it was his honor to support a program that gives young people an opportunity to develop their professional skills in Germany. Zoran created ideas, realized them step by step, he followed his achievements. He would never celebrate his success rather he would come up with a new idea to present to the public,. Tadic said
German Ambassador Wolfram Maas, said that the internship program implemented by the Fund and OA and supported by the German government is very important aspect of his work in Serbia. Firstly because the program honors Zoran Djindjic who was the epitome of excellent relations between Germany and Serbia, but more importantly, he was a visionary at a very difficult time in the history of Serbia. Zoran Djindjic paved the road towards EU. His assassination was a terrible shock and it brought Serbia’s way to EU to a standstill, said Ambassador Maas.
President of the Fund Ruzica Djindjic said that every educated young man is a shift from the past Serbia should not repeat.
This June, after German language course, 25 interns travel to Berlin where they will visit German institutions and meet with representatives of German economy. After that they will go to various companies such as Deutsche Welle, Robert Bosch, SAP, RWE Innogy, Daimler AG, Metro Cash&Carry and Deutsche Bank where they will work for the period of six months.

Seven years since the assassination of Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic |
Belgrade, March 12th 2010.
Several events were held in Belgrade to honor Zoran Djindjic the assassinated Prime Minister of Serbia. Family of Mr. Djindjic along with President of Serbia Boris Tadic and citizens of Serbia honored Zoran Djindjic by laying wreaths on his grave in Belgrade.

Crystal Award to Zoran Djindjic Fund |
Belgrade, February 24th 2010.
Zoran Djindjic Fund has been awarded the Crystal Award for best youth project in 2009. The award was given to the Fund for Experiencing Europe Program implemented in cooperation with ADA and WUS Austria.
Experiencing Europe program opened new possibilities for young people in Serbia and it is a great example how NGOs can contribute to European integration of Serbia at a time when the government does not have the mechanisms for implementation of similar projects. At the same time, the Committee explained, this program promotes further cooperation of individuals, civil society organizations, institutions and business sector as well as international and regional cooperation. The committee was presided by Danilo Milic coordinator of the Olof Palme Center in Serbia.
The award was presented to the President of the Zoran Djindjic Fund, Mrs. Ruzica Djindjic.
