The 2nd Round of the Call for Application for the Learn and Travel - Support to Young Experts 2017

Belgrade, August 28th, 2017

The Zoran Djindjic Foundation opens the call for application for the financial support to the students and post-graduates of the Universities of Serbia for the student travels, participation in summer schools, academic and professional conferences which are going to be held until February 1st, 2018.

The project Learn and Travel - Support to Young Experts implies particularly covering the travel expenses to candidates who meet the requirements.

The scholarship expenses, registration fee, accommodation expenses as well as the refund of the purchased tickets are not covered by the project.

Who can apply:

  • BA, MA and PhD students of all universities and faculties in Serbia.

The application includes the following documentation:

  • the filled-up form that is attached to this article
  • CV
  • invitation letter that confirms that you are accepted to participate in conference/summer school
  • letter from the organizer that confirms that the travel expenses are not covered.

The 4th Belgrade Konstanz Summer School on Challenges of Migration and Integration in the Danube Region - Towards a Joint Vision?

Konstanz, Germany, July 30th - August 5th, 2017 

The Belgrade-Konstanz Summer School is a cooperative project of the Zoran Djindjic Foundation, Faculty of Political Sciences, the University of Belgrade and the University of Konstanz, the Department of Politics and Public Administration. This year's fourth edition took place at the University of Konstanz from Sunday, July 30th to Saturday, August 5th, 2017.

The school brought together 16 students, 10 from the University of Konstanz, and 6 from the University of Belgrade. The summer school seeks to encourage societal leaders of tomorrow to start addressing pressing problems jointly, rather than within the boundaries of their nation-states.

After the lectures and workshops dedicated to making decisions and searching for the policy solutions on European migrant crisis, the participants had the opportunity to visit the city landmarks and find out more about Zoran Djindjic's life and student days in Konstanz where he obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1979.

Svečani Prijem u Čast XIV Generacije Stipendista Nemačkog Programa

Kao i prethodne godine, Nemačka služba za akademsku razmenu (DAAD) i Fondacija dr Zoran Đinđić organizovali su zajednički prijem u čast dodele DAAD stipendija i odlaska XIV generacije stipendista Programa stipendija nemačke privrede Zoran Đinđić na stručne prakse u Nemačku. Prijem je održan u utorak 23. maja 2017. godine u rezidecniji nemačkog ambasadora Nj.E.g-dina Aksela Ditmana.

Ove godine, 24 stipendista će se uputiti u Nemačku kako bi obavili svoje stručne prakse u trajanju od 3 do 6 meseci u nekim od najpoznatijih nemačkih kompanija: IHP Microelectronics, Deutsche Telekom AG, Commerzbank, Bayer AG, KfW Bank, Robert Bosch GmbH i druge. Boravak u Nemačkoj omogućiće mladim stručnjacima je da se upoznaju sa organizacijom, poslovnim procesima i funkcionisanjem velikih i uspešnih nemačkih kompanija, kako bi kasnije to znanje i iskustvo preneli kroz svoje buduće radno angažovanje u Srbiji.

Zvanicama su se obratili: Nj.E. g-din Aksel Ditman, g-din Mladen Šarčević, ministar prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja, g-din Marko Čadež, predsednik Privredne Komore Srbije, g-din Mihael Harms, direktor Odbora nemačke privrede za Istočnu Evropu (OA), g-din Briš, direktor DAAD za Istočnu Evropu.
