The fifth generation of interns leaves for Germany |
Berlin June 4. - 9. 2008.
 The fifth generation of participants in the Zoran Djindjic Internship Program of German business has visited Berlin. During the visit more than forty interns from Serbia and the region had an opportunity to visit German institutions such as the Bundestag and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where they talked to members of the German government and the Parliament. A reception for the interns was given at the German Committee for Eastern European Economic Relations and also at the Serbian Embassy in Berlin.
Besides these official engagements and meetings the interns spent their time at informal social events and sightseeing in Berlin. At the end of the induction program they set out for the towns throughout Germany where they will live for the next six months gaining professional experience in companies such as Nordzucker, Metro, Siemens, and Rolls-Royce.

Internship program for young Serbian professionals |

 As part of the “Experiencing Europe – young Serbian professionals in Austria” program a press conference was held today at the offices of the Dr Zoran Djindjic Fund. Ružica Djindjic, President of the Management Board of the Fund and Ursula Plassnik, the Austrian Minister for European and International Affairs spoke at the conference.
Ursula Plassnik stressed that the aim of this program was to eliminate the feeling of isolation felt by young people in Serbia and to motivate them to get involved in the mainstream of modern thinking and practice. “Serbia is an integral part of Europe, as it always has been and it is now part of the new Europe”, the head of Austria's Diplomatic Service stated and went on to say that Europe needs Serbia.

Ruzica Djindjic meets with Susanne Kastner |

A German delegation headed by Susanne Kastner, Vice-President of the German Bundestag has visited Donji Milanovac. The occasion was the signing of the contract with GTZ, the German organisation for technical cooperation, covering the financing of the Visitors’ Centre for the Djerdap National Park. The guests were welcomed on behalf of the hosts by Ružica Djindjic, president of the Management Board of the Zoran Djindjic Fund.
