Reception for seventh generation of participants in Zoran Djindjic Internship Program of German business was held at the National Bank of Serbia.
President of Serbia Boris Tadic addressed the guests and said that the government and institutions can be successfully governed only through continuous learning and internal discipline. He added it was his honor to support a program that gives young people an opportunity to develop their professional skills in Germany. Zoran created ideas, realized them step by step, he followed his achievements. He would never celebrate his success rather he would come up with a new idea to present to the public,. Tadic said
German Ambassador Wolfram Maas, said that the internship program implemented by the Fund and OA and supported by the German government is very important aspect of his work in Serbia. Firstly because the program honors Zoran Djindjic who was the epitome of excellent relations between Germany and Serbia, but more importantly, he was a visionary at a very difficult time in the history of Serbia. Zoran Djindjic paved the road towards EU. His assassination was a terrible shock and it brought Serbia’s way to EU to a standstill, said Ambassador Maas.
President of the Fund Ruzica Djindjic said that every educated young man is a shift from the past Serbia should not repeat.
This June, after German language course, 25 interns travel to Berlin where they will visit German institutions and meet with representatives of German economy. After that they will go to various companies such as Deutsche Welle, Robert Bosch, SAP, RWE Innogy, Daimler AG, Metro Cash&Carry and Deutsche Bank where they will work for the period of six months.
