Seven years since the assassination of Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic

Belgrade, March 12th 2010.

Several events were held in Belgrade to honor Zoran Djindjic the assassinated Prime Minister of Serbia. Family of Mr. Djindjic along with President of Serbia Boris Tadic and citizens of Serbia honored Zoran Djindjic by laying wreaths on his grave in Belgrade.
National Library of Serbia presented a second edition of a book by Zoran Djindjic “ Yugoslavia as an Incomplete State” issued in cooperation with Zoran Djindjic Fund. A digital collection of books, scientific articles and translations by Zoran djindjic was also presented and can be found at http://djindjic.nb.rs .

Speeches in Zoran’s honor a traditional competition Speeches in Zoran’s honor a traditional competition was held at the Yugoslavian drama theatre in Belgrade. More tha 150 young people from all over Serbia took part in this competition. The winner was Toma Lukic a young biologist.

Belgrade Philharmonic orchestra held a concert in honor of Zoran Djindjic. The concert was conducted by Uros Lajovic.
