12besednistvo2.jpgSava Stambolić a high school pupil has won this years public speaking contest “Speeches in Zoran’s Honor”. The competition was held to mark the fifth anniversary since the assassination of the Prime Minister of Serbia and President of Democratic Party Mr. Zoran Djindjic. More than two hundred young people participated in the qualifications. Eight young people participated in the finals and gave original addresses dedicated to the work of Zoran Djindjic.

2007 Zoran Djindjic Awards presented

dodela_nagrade_dr_zoran_ini_u_novom_sadu_1.jpgSerbian President Boris Tadic declared this evening that the idea of building a society, which in no way lagged behind Europe in terms of its value system, was "within arm’s reach" of Serbia. "This idea is within arm's reach for us in 2008. It is we who will decide if we are to take fate into our own hands, it is we who decide what this country will look like in the coming years, and we have much to do in the coming years", said Tadić in Novi Sad at the Dr Zoran Djindjic Young Scientists Awards ceremony.

ruzica_djindjic_open_the_conference_in_ulm.jpgThe president of the Zoran Djindjic Fund Management Board, Ruzica Djindjic, opened the international conference “Danube - the Lifeline of Europe"  in Ulm, which was organised by the Ulm Danube Bureau and the Belgrade office of the GTZ (German Association for Technical Cooperation) and sponsored by the German Federal Ministry for Technical Cooperation and Development (BMZ), as well as the European Commission for Culture, Mr Jan Figel.
