Belgrade, June 15th 2009.
The sixth generation of participants in the Zoran Djindjic Internship Program of German Business spend five days in Berlin preparing to start their internship in cities throughout Germany.
During their stay in Berlin participants had various meetings with the representatives of German business as well as a welcome reception at he Serbian Embassy. The reception was also held in the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations where the participants were greeted by Mr. Bodo Hombach former Coordinator of Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe. Mr. Hombach has been a great supporter of the Zoran Djindjic Program since its inception almost six years ago.
Besides the formal part of the program attended by fifty students and young expersts from Serbia and the region, participants had the chance to discover Berlin. After five days of meetings, discussions and sightseeing they departed to various cities in all parts of the country where they will spend up to six months working in some of the renowned German companies.

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden honors Zoran Djindjic |
Belgrade, May 20th 2009.
During his short visit to Belgrade U.S. Vice President Mr. Joe Biden honored reformist Prime Minister of Serbia Zoran Djindjic at the government HQ. During his short visit Vice President Biden laid a wreath of flowers at the memorial plaque by the spot where Zoran Djindjic was assassinated on March 12th 2003.
The inscription on the wreath reads: “To Zoran Djindjic with deep respect from the American people“.
Vice President Biden also met widow of the slain Prime Minister, Mrs. Ruzica Djindjic and conveyed his respect for her work. He emphasised that he admired Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic whom he knew personally. Ruzica Djindjic expressed gratitude to Vice President Biden for his support and added she was honored by his gesture.

Belgrade, March 12th 2009.
Serbian Prime Minister Mr. Mirko Cvetkovic opened an exhibition titled “Through Life and Thought” - - Bequest of Dr Zoran Djindjic. The exhibition has been prepared by Archives of Serbia, Historical Museum of Serbia and National Library of Serbia. Written documents, personal belongings and personal library was handed over to the Archives of Serbia by Mrs. Ruzica Djindjic. The bequeathed writings of Dr. Zoran Djindjic contain personal documents, notebooks, agendas, drafts for letters to foreign statesmen and many other documents which provide insight into the personality and private interests of Dr. Zoran Djindjic.
